She was most recently named to the Channel Futures Circle of Excellence for her leadership and innovation in the channel.

Akilah Murrell is a visionary leader in the channel space known for creating innovative campaigns and developing cutting-edge digital marketing strategies in her role as Senior Manager of Channel Marketing at 360insights. She is an influential speaker who shares her valuable insights to audiences worldwide. Alexie Teferi, Channel Development Director, Lumen
Alexie Teferi’s journey from Ethiopia to the United States is a story of resilience and achievement. Born in Addis Abeba, she faced profound challenges during Ethiopia’s communist takeover, including the tragic loss of her brother and family assets, which led her family to flee the country. Despite these hardships, she pursued higher education in Government and International Relations at Sacramento State University, later securing an internship in Washington, DC. Her professional career flourished in the tech industry, where she has held leadership roles with companies like AT&T and Lumen Technologies, building channel sales programs and earning prestigious awards, such as the Diamond Club and multiple sales excellence recognitions.
Beyond her career, Alexie is deeply committed to philanthropy and community service. She mentors women through the Alliance of Channel Women, chairs mentoring initiatives and has a longstanding dedication to helping orphans and women affected by war in Ethiopia. Her community contributions have been recognized with several awards, including honors from Congressman Mike Honda and the Ethiopian Arts Forum. A servant leader, Alexie empowers diverse teams and advocates for mentoring, believing it benefits business and personal growth. She lives in California with her husband of 26 years and their two grown daughters.
