Qashu is national channel manager for Mitel, provider of enterprise and mobile communications. As a former association executive, Qashu brings a different energy and skill set to the channel sales community as well as a strategic way of selling to both partners and end users that is focused on their overall business. Her philosophy balances personal development with career, family and community. Qashu is a registered yoga teacher within the Yoga Alliance.

Qashu has been a WiC member since February 2015 and has served on the group’s Membership and Sponsorship committees.

“I support WiC’s mission of collaborating to grow our businesses as women in technology and telecommunications,” said Qashu. “I look forward to serving in my new role to increase awareness and support for an organization that goes beyond networking. As we evolve and grow, we need the support of the community to enhance our outreach to women and to involve young women in the field of technology and telecommunications.”

“I am thrilled to have Bana co-chair the Sponsorship Committee in 2016,” said WiC Board Member Rebecca Rosen, chair of the Sponsorship Committee and president of Sales Enabled, a sales consulting firm. “In her role, Bana will be leading a group of extraordinary volunteer fundraisers responsible for ensuring we meet our financial goals for the year.”

Qashu also will be preparing to lead the Sponsorship Committee as its chair in 2017. Rosen will transition to a project management role, ensuring WiC’s backers receive the full benefit of their sponsorships.

WiC will be hosting its 11th networking event on March 15 at the Channel Partners Conference & Expo. For information about becoming an annual sponsor, click here or email the Sponsorship Committee at info@womeninthechannel.com.
