How Rebecca Rosen is Living the ACW Pledge: Women Supporting Women

May 4, 2021

Alliance of Channel Women is highlighting women who are Living the ACW Pledge: Women Supporting Women. We’re seeking nominations from the channel community for women – from the mailroom to the boardroom – who embody the oath in their words and actions.

Rebecca Rosen, Director of Field Marketing at Cox Communications, was nominated by Rachel Turkus, Senior Channel Marketing Manager at Netfortris.

In what way(s) is your nominee an example of Living the ACW Pledge of women supporting women?
Rebecca Rosen is the epitome of a woman who lifts up other women. As my mentor, she has helped me know my strengths, recognize my weaknesses, and understand how to become a better marketer and leader. She’s even opened my eyes to how to be a better parent. She truly cares for the women in her life and gets to know them on every level.

What is a specific example of what she did for you and when it happened?
Rebecca taught me how to report against ROI. She took the time to show me how to make the calculations, listened when I had different ideas, and showed me how to put together presentations that answered executive needs. I use that baseline to make calculations and presentations to this day.

What impact did her action have on you and/or your career?
When I reported to Rebecca, she continually took time to help me through my projects, gave me credit for my work, and spent countless hours helping me become a better manager and leader. Even to this day, I can call her at any time for advice or a sounding board. Without her influence, I wouldn’t be the leader nor marketer I am today.
