ABOUT MICHAEL WHITE
R. Michael White serves as the Director Human Resources of Cox Business. In this role he is responsible for the strategic direction and execution of the People Solutions portfolio for Cox Business. The scope includes; strategic organizational design and structure, talent management, compensation, people development, inclusion & diversity and performance management. Cox Business delivers more than $2.5 billion in annual revenue including; commercial sales and the New Businesses Venture Group (Trapollo, Rapidscale and BlueprintRF). Prior to joining Cox Business in 2017, White was Vice President Human Resources Newell Brandswhere he led the HR practice forthe global Supply Chain and the 2015 HR Transformation. Before moving to Atlanta, White had an impressive career (21 years) in progressive leadership roles at the global CPG leader Unilever. His career spanned both Supply Chain and Human Resources in the Canadian and US businesses. His last role being, Senior Director Human Resources – NA Marketing, located in the Englewood Cliffs, New Jersey head office. In addition to his Supply Chain and Human Resources experiences, White is an active Board Member of 21st Century Leaders (Atlanta), recipient of the 2013 Harlem YMCA Black Achievers in Industry Award, and Member Professional Engineers of Ontario, Canada. He holds a Bachelor of Engineering (Chemical) degree from McMaster University in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada. Michael is married to Jodi and they have two children, Stephanie and Olivia.
