Alliance of Channel Women is highlighting women who are Living the ACW Pledge: Women Supporting Women. We’re seeking nominations from the channel community for women – from the mailroom to the boardroom – who embody the oath in their words and actions.
Melissa Church, Founder at Digi-Buzz, was nominated by Gloria Stinson.
In what way(s) is your nominee an example of Living the ACW Advocacy Pledge of women supporting women?
Melissa is helping teach the next generation of young women in stem, giving them a female role model, help with testing, and more.
Melissa also helps small female-owned businesses make the most of their digital marketing. For free, she sits down with business owners in rural Iowa and helps them online.
What is a specific example of what she did for you and when it happened?
Melissa worked with me and helped me make my business more notable online. She really cared and wanted to make sure I could hold my own against major competitors online.
What impact did her action have on you and/or your career?
She made my business more than I could’ve dreamed. She walked me through the best ways to get things done and taught me her best tips. She never charged me for the advice she gave.
