In what way(s) is your nominee an example of Living the ACW Pledge of women supporting women?
Melanie lives the ACW pledge through her actions and the support of women around her.
What is a specific example of what she did for you and when it happened?
I was struggling with some health issues, and when Melanie found out, she was immediately by my side, helping me navigate through it – not to mention her ongoing support. She even offered to take my place at any event if I needed a break.
What impact did her action have on you and/or your career?
Melanie makes it a point to highlight my achievements in management which, in turn, helped me to get promoted to the position I am in now. I can’t thank her enough for all she has done for me. I consider her to be a mentor, life coach and friend!
