How Kimberly Beene is Living the ACW Pledge: Women Supporting Women

Mar 11, 2023

Alliance of Channel Women is highlighting women who are Living the ACW Pledge: Women Supporting Women. We’re seeking nominations from the channel community for women – from the mailroom to the boardroom – who embody the oath in their words and actions.

Kimberly Beene, Strategic Alliance Manager at DTech Apps, was nominated by Julia Giancaspro, Partner Marketing Manager at DTech Apps.

In what way(s) is your nominee an example of Living the ACW Advocacy Pledge of women supporting women?

She is an amazing mentor and friend. Kim brings knowledge to the workplace that helps set the tone for our success. She’s always looking out for people and encourages others to find the best in themselves.

What is a specific example of what she did for you and when it happened?

She’s inspired me with her strength and persistence! Working with Kim and being a friend has opened my mind to look at life more positively. She’s naturally motivated to encourage others and stick up to close friends and family.

What impact did her action have on you and/or your career?

She has shown me how to move through certain situations and consider alternatives or supportive advice. Her experience is helpful to my role, and I love learning from her.
