Alliance of Channel Women is highlighting women who are Living the ACW Pledge: Women Supporting Women. We’re seeking nominations from the channel community for women – from the mailroom to the boardroom – who embody the oath in their words and actions.
Kathy Flick, National Director of Master Agents at Nextiva, was nominated by Trisha Coyle, Channel Sales Manager at MicroCorp, an AppSmart company.
In what way(s) is your nominee an example of Living the ACW Pledge of women supporting women?
Kathy Flick is a natural-born leader with a servant’s heart. She is all in every day giving everything she has for her partners, co-workers and colleagues. I cannot think of a better person to open up ACW in the Charlotte market.
What is a specific example of what she did for you and when it happened?
I went through a battle with breast cancer in 2019-2020, and this girl showed up for me. She invested in me, my health and my overall well-being. She constantly checked in on me and even drove down to visit with me. This kind of effort is the best example of women supporting women. I am forever grateful for her investment and friendship.
What impact did her action have on you and/or your career?
Her impact helped me get through some tough times and has solidified our friendship. I would do anything to help this incredible human!
