In what way(s) is your nominee an example of Living the ACW Advocacy Pledge of women supporting women?
Eileen lives out the ACW Pledge of Women Supporting Women every single day. Whether it’s an encouraging word, a sympathetic ear, or helping celebrate your wins, Eileen is a champion for others. Eileen is a mentor to other women at work and yet remains humble despite her successes. Her peers routinely reach out to her for guidance and support.
What is a specific example of what she did for you and when it happened?
Eileen will be the first to speak up and advocate for others when they feel they don’t have a voice. She also helps “brag” about your successes, especially when, as a woman, you have a hard time doing so. Even on the most challenging days, Eileen can help with a smile and empathy that lifts you up.
What impact did her action have on you and/or your career?
Eileen is such a hard worker. Her strength, perseverance and determination are admirable and inspire me never to give up!
