Channel Veteran Tina Gravel Joins Women in the Channel’s Advisory Council

SANTA ANA, Calif., February 6, 2018 – Women in the Channel (WiC), a not-for-profit organization focused on accelerating the growth of female channel leaders in technology, announced that channel veteran Tina Gravel, senior vice president of global channels for Cyxtera, has been named to its inaugural WiC Advisory Council, a panel of industry experts who will provide guidance on the growth and strategic direction of the WiC organization.

“WIC is excited to welcome Tina Gravel to its Advisory Council,” said WiC President Stacy Conrad, vice president of channel sales for Fusion. “Tina is a respected channel executive with global experience across telecom and IT. She will provide and impactful insight insight as WiC grows its programs and impact in the coming years.”

An award-winning executive with more than 25 years of experience in the IT outsourcing, cloud, security and SaaS industries, Gravel is currently leading the channel globally for Cyxtera. Prior to Cyxtera, she was a senior vice president of global channels and strategic alliances for Cryptzone, a Cyxtera Business. Previously, Gravel has held numerous leadership roles, such as general manager and vice president of Dimension Data’s Cloud Services Business in the Americas, a vice president of worldwide sales and marketing at Nirvanix. Notably, she was a member of the original management team at Terremark, a Verizon company, where she held several leadership roles over 14 years, including vice president of global channels and alliances.

In April 2017 Tina received the Cloud Girls “Trailblazer Award” for her work in cloud computing and was named one of the “Women of the Channel 2017” by CRN.

Gravel joins five other members of the 2018 WiC Advisory Council, including:

• Deb Ward, CEO, Televergence Solutions Inc.

“Our WiC Advisory Council is led by dynamic and inspirational women who understand perseverance and want to continue to pave the way for the next generation of women leaders,” Conrad said.

Members of the Advisory Council serve one- or two-year terms, and will provide WiC with their professional expertise; diverse knowledge of constituent perspectives; connections to local, national or international resources, colleagues or peers; and philanthropic support or other forms of needed assistance.
