Alliance of Channel Women is highlighting women who are Living the ACW Pledge: Women Supporting Women. We’re seeking nominations from the channel community for women – from the mailroom to the boardroom – who embody the oath in their words and actions.

In what way(s) is your nominee an example of Living the ACW Pledge of women supporting women?
Alexie took on the task of mentoring a large group of women. She challenged us to dig beneath the professional service and understand what can hinder us from improving our careers.
What is a specific example of what she did for you and when it happened?
Alexie pushed me to grow my network and establish a brand. She believed in my skills and thought I had something special when connecting with people. She encouraged me to not only work hard at my job but also work at my networking base.
What impact did her action have on you and/or your career?
With Alexie and the members of my mentor group, I pushed myself to see a different perspective and work on bettering all my professional approaches. By the end of our session, I had an offer from my #1 choice of companies. I am so thankful for the group Alexie led.
