Channel Veteran to Plan WiC Networking Events at Channel Partners & Cloud Partners Trade Shows
SANTA ANA, Calif., Oct. 30, 2015 – Women in the Channel (WiC), a not-for-profit organization dedicated to accelerating the growth of female channel leaders in technology, announced today that Raquel Wiley has been named as the new Chair of the Channel Partners Planning Committee, which is charged with planning WiC’s twice annual networking events at the Channel Partners Conference & Expo and Cloud Partners events.
Wiley is the channel marketing manager of TelePacific Communications’ Telepartner program, responsible for the strategic planning and management of the company’s channel relationships, which drive approximately 45% of the company’s $600 million business. She is responsible for developing and executing a broad range of initiatives and programs that leverage her 20 years of telecom marketing experience to build growing, vital collaborations between the agent community and TelePacific to bring effective solutions to customers. TelePacific’s comprehensive managed services offerings provide connectivity, cloud and continuity solutions to 75,000 locations for customers ranging from small business to enterprises with hundreds of sites.
Wiley will be assuming this role as the Chair’s predecessor, Hilary Gadda, vacates the position. Gadda is WiC’s co-president and director of channel partners at TelePacific.
“It is with much enthusiasm and appreciation that I am announcing Raquel Wiley as our new Channel Partners Planning Chair,” said Gadda. “Raquel has been a big part of the success of our last three shows as a committee member and I could not be more proud to hand over the reins to her now. I know she will knock it out of the park! “
Wiley has been a member of WiC since January 2013 and has served on WiC’s Event Planning, Sponsorship and Angel Program committees.
An accomplished telecom veteran, Wiley is a forward-thinking innovator who excels at implementing proactive support, cutting-edge marketing and precise strategies into any project she encounters. She has been recognized multiple times for her leadership and performance at TelePacific and in former management roles at AT&T.
“I am honored at the new appointment and am elated about the opportunity to serve the WIC community in this capacity,” said Wiley. “I’m looking forward to collaborating with the WiC Board and other committee chairs as we take the organization to new heights in 2016.”
WiC looks forward to Wiley’s continued leadership contributions as it works to grow and fortify Women in the Channel. In addition, WiC would like to sincerely thank Hilary Gadda for her generous contributions as the previous chair of the Channel Partners Planning Committee.
