Award Honors Women Who Are ‘Living the Pledge’: Women Supporting Women
ORANGE, Calif., February 23, 2023 – The Alliance of Channel Women, a not-for-profit organization dedicated to accelerating the growth of female channel leaders in technology, announced today that Nicole Steele, Director of Global Channel Marketing and Enablement at Aryaka Networks, was selected as the group’s Big Impact Winner for Q4 2022. Honorees are chosen quarterly by ACW from nominees who are Living the ACW Advocacy Pledge: Women Supporting Women.
The ACW Advocacy Pledge Program was started in 2020 by the ACW Advocacy Committee (now the Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Committee) to encourage women to support each other. The ACW Advocacy Pledge is “Behind Every Successful Woman is a Community of Successful Women Who Have Her Back.”
Steele, the Big Impact Winner for Q4 2022, was nominated by Khali Henderson, Senior Partner at BuzzTheory, who wrote:
“Throughout her career in tech, Nicole has been a champion for diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI). She has the courage to call out inequity and rather than simply complain, asks for resources and support to fix it. She’s set up employee resources groups (ERGs) for DEI, including for women in tech, and helped to drive programming…She’s the genuine article. She’s impressed me with her strength and the example she sets for her children of a strong professional woman who advocates for what she believes.”
