ACW Also Partners with Channel Futures to Produce Inaugural Women’s Leadership Summit at the MSP Summit & Channel Partners Leadership Summit
ORANGE, Calif., August 25, 2022 – Alliance of Channel Women, a not-for-profit organization dedicated to accelerating the growth of female channel leaders in technology, will host its popular networking event, ACWConnect Live!, from 6-9 p.m. EDT, Sept. 14, during the Channel Futures MSP Summit & Channel Partners Leadership Summit, taking place Sept. 13-16 at the Caribe Royale in Orlando, Fla.
ACWConnect Live! is focused on “The Leader in You,” with sessions on redefining your future, investing in yourself, and zeroing in on the meaning of leadership and how you can be a leader no matter your title or age.
The event’s keynote speaker, entrepreneur Marita Cheng, offers a shining example. At age 19, Cheng founded Robogals to get girls interested in engineering by visiting schools and teaching robotics. At 22, she led a team of 4,000 people across 13 countries and was named Young Australian of the Year. Cheng later cofounded Aipoly, which uses convolutional neural networks to recognize everyday objects for the blind and won the CES Best of Innovation Award two years in a row. But she didn’t stop there. Cheng also founded Aubot, which designs, manufactures and ships robots throughout Australia. Her leadership has been recognized by many. She was named a Member of the Order of Australia for significant service to science and technology, particularly robotics, in 2019. She also was named one of Forbes 2018 World’s Top 50 Women in Tech and Forbes 30 Under 30.
